The Development Programme is aimed at players who want more football, and want to progress and work towards playing for a team. The sessions run three days consecutively, Saturdays, Sundays & Mondays, with players showing more commitment and focus.
The Development Programme is split into two age groups. The first age group ranging from 7 years old to 10 years old. The second age group ranges from 11 years old to 15 years old.
Training covers all aspects of football, including SAQ practices, technical practices, small-sided games and subject focused practices to match the session outcomes. Matches are played against similar-level opposition to give players the experience to develop.
The price for our Development Programme is 2,500฿ per calander month. The yearly membership is 2,500฿, which includes all three DP kits & a training ball, to bring to sessions if chosen, and to practice with at home.
Our approach is one based around possession and playing through the thirds of the field. Quality passing and intelligent movement to support off the ball is integral to how we want to play football. Possession should always be with direction and a mindset to penetrate the opposition when the opportunity arises. Linked with varied attacking play and quality finishing in the final third is how FC Planet’s academy approach coaching our youth teams while in possession of the ball.
When out of possession, defending is a role that all players on the pitch contribute to. Starting from the front each player has a role to play in a controlled and tactical approach to defending as a unit.
